Green Jobs on Navajo Nation
Navajo Nation is presented with a great opportunity: to lead the way in the green economy, with green jobs that create pathways out of poverty and re-energize
society.
The Navajo Green Jobs incentives seeks to receive $10 million allocated by the Navajo Nation Council, for the creation of green jobs projects throughout the Nation.

- This effort would create thousands of good, local jobs for Navajo people, thereby boosting the economy.
- Jobs would also enable Navajo homeowners to have electricity by using the earth’s elements.

- The Navajo Green Economy Coalition is calling upon the Council to approve the Navajo Green Jobs initiative to reenergize Navajo Nation.
